The 2016-17 CoSIDA Membership enrollment period is July 20 - Oct. 20, 2016. Beginning Oct. 21, 2016, a $30/membership late fee will be added for all late enrollments. Members will have the option to purchase a group membership for the first time. Individual memberships will continue to be available.

The Board of Directors adopted a proposal to offer active memberships to groups of three, six and 10 in addition to the current individual, associate and student memberships. The group membership is a benefit that your school, conference or organization can take advantage of if you have staffs of three or more. See below for more details.
EACH ORGANIZATION MUST HAVE A DUES-PAYING CUSTODIAN OF THEIR CoSIDA ACCOUNT
New for 2016-17: Beginning July 20, 2016, every school must have a custodian and all custodians
MUST be dues-paying members. The custodian of each organization can: update and edit organizational and staff information, pay online dues for staff members and add or delete members during the year. Even if you want your administrative assistant to do any of the tasks outlined above, he/she must either log in as you OR become a dues-paying member themselves.

Academic All-District® and All-America® Nomination and Voting Rights
• All current dues-paying active members, regardless of whether they are included in a group membership or are an individual member, are extended nominating and voting rights.

Different for 2016-17: Associate Memberships and Undergraduate Student Memberships do NOT have nominating and voting privileges. Note that undergraduate students who are included in a Group Membership or have an Individual Active Membership are permitted to nominate and vote.
• All CoSIDA Lifetime Achievement Award winners are extended free annual membership.
SUMMARY: Important Differences in Member Benefits
There are several changes to certain member benefits as part of the new membership options. Please pay careful attention to these when enrolling:
• Group Active Memberships (of up to 3, 6 or 10) can include full-time staff, part-time staff, graduate assistants, interns and undergraduate students – all at the same rate per person.
• All members of a group membership are eligible to nominate and vote for Academic All-America®.
• Undergraduate students with a discounted Undergraduate Student Membership are NOT allowed to nominate or vote for Academic All-America®. Undergrads must be part of a Group Active Membership or have a full-priced Individual Active Membership to nominate and vote.
• All Group Active Memberships are retained by the employer regardless of who paid for the actual membership.
• Any INDIVIDUAL membership purchased is retained by the individual regardless of who (institution or individual) paid for it.

The 2016-17 CoSIDA membership runs from July 20,2016, through June 30, 2017. Regular pricing for each membership type will be good from July 20-October 20.
Late registration and renewal fees will be applied beginning October 21, 2016.
Exceptions to the late fee charge: (1) Any person joining CoSIDA for the first time as an individual member and (2) any professional who has changed jobs after October 20, 2016, and is purchasing an individual membership. There are no exceptions for Group Memberships.

Group Membership (specific pricing for groups of 3, 6, 10 and above): Any combination of full-time staff, part-time staff, graduate assistants, interns and undergraduate students. All members of the group are eligible to nominate and vote for the Academic All-America teams program. Memberships are retained by the institution if the employee leaves. (Late fee of $30/per member will be charged beginning Oct. 21, 2016)
Individual Membership (Late fee $170 beginning Oct. 21, 2016): For full-time or part-time employees, graduate assistants, interns or undergraduate students employed by a school or conference. All individual members are eligible to nominate and vote for the Academic All-America teams program. Memberships are retained by the employee if the employee leaves.
Associate Membership (Late fee $225 beginning Oct. 21, 2016): For anyone associated with intercollegiate athletics who is not employed by a school or conference. Associate members are not eligible to nominate and vote for the Academic All-America teams program.
Undergraduate Student Membership (Late fee $80 beginning Oct. 21, 2016): For any undergraduate student. Undergraduate student members are not eligible to nominate and vote for the Academic All-America teams program. Memberships are retained by the student if he or she leaves the institution.

At the time of renewal or joining, the CoSIDA Board asks everyone to review their online directory information and make all necessary edits/updates. Each person who is the custodian of an organizational account (who can edit/update all organization info, staff info and pay membership dues for all staffers) is also asked to review and update directory information.
